Memorial Day 2007

A record number of family friends and patriotic Americans gathered at The Lexington National Cemetery to remember and honor men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans of the American Legion, Man O’ War Post No. 8, and its Ladies Auxiliary participated in 2003 and 2004 Memorial Day Observance through providing the presentation of The Colors, a 21-gun salute and Taps. The featured remarks were delivered by MG Charles, E. Gorton, Commander, 81st Regional Readiness Sustainment Command, Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
