2006 will mark the 15th anniversary of holiday wreaths being sent from the State of Maine to Arlington National Cemetery. Every year the staff at Worcester Wreath Company makes and decorates wreaths that adorn more than 5000 headstones of our Nation’s fallen heroes - in what has become an annual event coordinated with the Cemetery Administration and the Maine State Society.

Lexington, KY—With the arrival of fall comes the beautiful colors of trees. The colorful leaves can be found in abundance at The Lexington Cemetery. Before all the leaves have fallen, then cleared away for mulching, The Lexington Cemetery invites the community to join its horticulturist and other tree experts for a Guided Tree Walk, 10 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2006.

(Lexington, KY)—At 7p Monday, September 11, five years after terrorists hi-jacked jetliners and attacked the United States, and just two weeks after the tragedy of Comair Flight 5191 at Blue Grass Airport, people of Central Kentucky are invited to gather to remember innocent lives lost, to reflect upon these events and to hear words and music of healing and hope.
The site of the service will be Immanuel Baptist Church, 3100 Tates Creek Road, Lexington, KY, in its 1,800 seat sanctuary.

(Lexington, KY)— On Saturday, August 26 at 9 a.m., The Lexington Cemetery is sponsoring “Growing Through Grief”, a program designed to normalize the grief process and help people who have experienced a loss find ways to put some joy into their lives once again. During the program a grief recovery specialist will offer suggestions for coping and teach people how to grow through their grief.
