Memorial Day 2003 and 2004

Family friends and patriotic Americans gathered at The Lexington National Cemetery to remember and honor men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans of the American Legion, Man O’ War Post No. 8, and its Ladies Auxiliary participated in 2003 and 2004 Memorial Day Observance through providing the presentation of The Colors, a 21-gun salute and Taps.

Children learn values about saluting war heroes Alyssa and Mason Wade watched on as The Lexington Cemetery and American Legion Man 'O Post War 8 presented the 2004 Memorial Day Observance. This was the third observance Mason, who is now 5 years old, has attended, and the first for his sister Alyssa, age 2.
